DailyHoroscope update for BlackBerry devices

We have been hard at work, working on the latest update to the BlackBerry version of the DailyHoroscope. The newest version at the moment is 1.2.0. It is ready and we have started to push in app update as well as submitted the new version to the App World, which will hopefully get checked and approved an be available for in App World update within the next couple weeks.

If you have a blackberry and do not have DailyHoroscope application, you can download DailyHoroscope from the App World or if you prefer for some reason, you can try our DailyHoroscope over the air (OTA) download.

You can follow the above link on your BB browser, or type it — http://bit.ly/dhberry directly.

We will keep working and improving DailyHoroscope to match the functionality of DailyHoroscope for Android.

How do you hide the keyboard in portrait view?
  • I believe you might be in what is called "compatibility mode" on your Storm.

You can either try to install the latest version from here http://bit.ly/dhberry (and this should automatically disable the compatibility mode for you)

Or disable the compatibility mode manually and you should be just fine :)

    Follow those steps:
Go to OPTIONS -- ADVANCED OPTIONS -- APPLICATIONS. Highlight the DilyHoroscope application. Bring the context menu (hit the menu button - the one with logo). Select "Disable Compatibility Mode". Once you disable compatibility mode, restart the application. To restart the application if it's still running and hit "BACK" button untill you exit to your homescreen. When you re-open the applicaion, the blue border and the persistent virtual SureType keyboard should be gone. You may be able to use the application in landscape mode as well.

    Worked perfectly, thank you.
  • Did you install the new version or had to do it manually?

I disabled the compatibility mode and it worked fine. Is version 1.2.0.47 the latest version?
  • No, the latest one is 1.2.0.49 I gave you the link. But we will have 1.2.0.50 in a few days so you may want to wait with the upgrade if you want.
